New Boards

John and I got snowboards today. We have been looking around for the best price and found boards that were a good price. We got the boots, bindings, and boards. Justina even got some boots. They were on sale. Hopefully we can go use our new boards soon.

The Weekend!!!

My grandma, aunt, uncle and cousin came up for the weekend. My cousins Kelly and Chad and thier little girl also were up here for the weekend. We hadn't seen their baby Nicole yet so on Friday they came up so we could see her. We ened up going up to Midville earlier to get Justina so she wasn't sitting at home by herself while Steve had to work so she was there when Kelly and Chad came up to the house. It was fun to get to see them and spend time with them. We haven't seen them in a while. I went down to Ticaboo last April and saw them but no one else in my family was with me. We ened up going to dinner that night to the Iggy's in Orem. That was 2 days in a row of eating at Iggy's. They have good food so it wasn't hard going there again and eating. We ened up staying up late while Kelly and Chad waited for one of Keri's friends to come up and see Nicole. She took forever to get up to the house. Actually Keri had to go get her. Then when she got up here she didn't want to leave. She was squished poor Nicole because she didn't want to let her go. Kelly and Chad were ready to leave because they had to drive all the way to Draper to Audrey and Johathons. She was being a real brat. Kelly tried to take her away and so did Chad but she wouldn't give Nicole to them. She wanted to be the one to put Nicole in her car seat. I was so ready to slap the girl along with everyone else. She was kissing her and squishing her while she was sleeping. I was suprised that Nicole didn't start crying. On Saturday we decided to go up to Brighton to go night skiing. It was me, my dad, aunt marie, john, jordan, derek, johathon, audrey, keri, and derek's friend. We went and rented the gear that we needed and head up the canyon. It seemed to take a while to get up there and it was snowing. We got up there put everything on and heading up to the slopes. We started off on the bunny hill to get some practice. I actually did pretty good. I didn't fall except when I got of the lift. The first time I went up the lift with Keri and there were people at the bottom of the lift. We were falling and keri grabbed me. The second time I went with John. I could have made it off the lift okay but my board and John's board hit eachother and we fell. We went down the bunny hill twice. It isn't that long of a hill but it is pretty long. We started walking over to one of the other lifts when my dad started having a hard time. I carried my board and his ski's up the hill. He decided he needed a break. I ened up throwing up and didn't feel like going up the lift and end up throwing up coming down and having some one run it over. We just waited for everyone else to come down. Then we had to drive home in the dark. Well I had to drive. We dropped off the gear and went home. We had pulled pork sandwhiches for dinner. Steve showed up about 30 minutes after we got back. On Sunday they all left to go back home. It was a fun weekend.

The Draper Temple

On February 5 we had tickets to go see the new temple in Draper. It was also my mom's b-day. Justina, Me, Mom, Dad, John, Keri, and John's friend Jordan went. It was so pretty. I loved all the details. There were carvings in the ceilings of flowers. The brides room was way pretty. I went around touching things and pointing out the details to Justina and Keri. The people around us were annyoed by me but oh well. I actually went and asked one of the tour people if I could touch one of the sofas that was off the course we were going. She thought I was weird but I got to touch the sofa. I wished that we could have gotten pictures of all of us at the temple but we couldn't. We drove to a church and watched a little video about Draper and the temple and then got on a bus. The bus dropped us off at a tent that lead us to the temple entrance. We walked through the temple and then in to a building I think was a church to get some water and cookies. Then went into another tent that lead us to the bus to take us back to the church to get our cars. It was cold and windy outside but I still wanted pictures. We then went to Radio Shack to change moms mp3 player and to get Steve. We then went to Iggy's for moms b-day dinner.
